Row Training Philosophy

Maximum Sports Conditioning has set up a summer Erg Technique/Conditioning + Rowing specific strength training.  It is great for rowers who really want to nail down stroke technique, timing, 2k strategy, and improve overall power.  We integrate specific strength exercises and adjust to make sure we meet each individual’s personal goals.  We also make modifications if the athlete has any injuries.

Breakdown of the training program:

  • Rowers will test 2k and a variety of strength-based tests at the beginning and the end of the program
  • They will undergo concentrated power training focused entirely on improving rowing ability
  • Sessions will last 1 hour
  • All ages are welcome (training methods will differ based on age)
